I was having a look at what 33 Weeks Pregnant looks like on babycentre.com and found this instead: “Mommy Tattoos”.

So.

Since getting punctured with inky needles is probably the safest thing to do while pregnant, I’ve been thinking about getting a motherly tattoo.

Maybe something like this, including the semi-confusing use of pronoun:

Or something more like this, because nothing says I Love My Kids more than barbed wire:

Or I could do away with the cute element entirely and just go for something straightforward like this:

I can’t tell which is worse: getting MOTHER scripted over your shoulderblades, or your own name in Gothic print over your bellybutton.

I had a dream last night wherein I was a seal. I was hoisted onto one of those factory-conveyor-belt-thingies made of metal rollers and pushed really hard. I went whizzing around this oily factory for a while before landing on a beach and having to push something with another seal or two. Come to think of it, I might have been more walrus than seal. It was pretty weird.

I doubt anyone would bother refuting the fact that Vivaldi’s Four Seasons are prime pieces of music. There’s not a movement I’ve met that I didn’t like in there. I haven’t played any of them in a long time (although a while back I purchased a good edition of ‘Autumn’ with admirable intentions that were never fulfilled because we also got Mario Galaxy around the same time). If Vivaldi were still mortal, he’d be 332 today. It was a toss up between posting a youtube of Alexi Liaho and some unknown guy in a baseball cap both playing excerpts from ‘Summer’ but in the end I went with this clip. The trackings off.
