This is where Andy lived as a little one.

This is where he lived pre-BYU. As you can see, he moved from Russia to Eastern USA.

Other than the white vinyl fence, and topiary, it looks remarkably like home here.

I love both Andy’s cats. But not so much the white one, because he doesnt have SERIOUS SNAGGLE TEETH! (To their merit, they are both overweight).

FRESH!

We went bowling at Masterson’s family bowl. There were 7 lanes, a 12 year old smoking, and prizes to be won. I won a Root Boost Mousse courtesy of the cashier’s second job at Master Cuts. Andy pointed out that there are no real gangsters in Franklin, so the fat kids adopt gangsta persona and pretend their pants are baggy for reasons of style. weird! We played a couple games at Andy’s house, one of them being tribond. you had to guess the common bond between three things. e.g. Naughty Child, Garden Vegetables and a (just-woken up) horse…. whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa?

GRILLED STICKIES!
and I like Biery and Abbey a lot. I hope they do visit us this summer. We will feed them costa vida, kick their butts at bowling and sit on our porch with delicious drinks.

We went to Baldingers. It sold cookie cutters in the following shapes:
Statue of Liberty
Old Bicycles
Umbrellas
Turkeys
Teacups
The state of PA
Giant maple leaves
Tractors
Sheep
And many many more.
It also sold a large variety of sweets from a bounteous collection that I have not tasted in fractions of a decade. Delicious!

Liberty Street!

Franklin is like Kendal only better. I like it here, but I don’t exactly want to live here.

We went to the Belmar Bridge which was a lot of fun. I imagine that Franklin is even more fun in the Summer. I like just sitting around chatting with Andy in the Winter, but knowing all these dead trees would look better in green (or even red) and the water is probably jump-in-able when its hot outside makes me want to see this place in the Summer.

I like driving around Franklin a lot. It is a charming place. They have a farmers market on wednesdays and saturdays and the town jail is a beautiful stone building.

PA attempt v.2 pt.2

December 24th, 2007 — 09:41 pm

When we arrived in Phoenix for our connecting flight, US Airways realized they had overbooked the flight. In return for being willing to fly at 9am the next day, get put up in the Hilton, fed and looked after, we received free, round trip tickets for anywhere in the continental states of the US. This means we could go to:
New York with intent of flying on to England
JFK
&/or La Guardia
NEW YORK!
