I like it when Andy plays videogames because I know he’s somewhat relaxed. I have sat through most of Zelda: twilight princess, Zelda: windwaker, Splinter Cell (II) and Prince of Persia: Sands of Time. I am not kidding. Sad perhaps, but entertaining nevertheless. I played Splinter Cell but it freaked me out because I’d play it alone in the dark, and a certain amount of time spent on that game makes you jumpy (i reckon). I actually like watching people play video games (people that CAN play videogames that is).
One videogame I will not enjoy spectatorarily, is MARIO KART. I am getting good and I am going to red shell your behind if you disagree. 1-0!!

I bought a leathery purse in a thrift store in Baker, Oregon. its kinda like my burmese one,
only its mexican (or so the girl in Costa Vida told me). It has an aztec calendar on it and its cream colours. i felt this weird shape in the lining of it the other day, and when i fished it out from inbetween the layers of the bag – it was a used, Estee Lauder lipstick. I like to think the lady that had this purse before me wore a hat to the movies when she went with her husband and referred to her front room as a parlour.
Little Ceasars Empire
November 10th, 2007 — 07:30 pmMaht Paulos said the guy that owns Little Ceasars chains = filthy rich, with fine taste for house decor and expensive things. Andy pointed out that unfortunately, the Little Ceasars Empire was an Industry and/or business technique that America often runs on. I thought that was smart. Find something everyone wants (Pizza) and is willing to pay for (take it home hot), make it for as cheap as possible (use the grosses ingredients ever, but make sure its feasibly edible), so you can sell it cheap ($5 a pop) but still make 200% profit (I swear those pizza’s cost like 50c to make). The public will buy it en masse and make you your first million.

After working for Labour of Love Launch Pad Mania Mum, I came home to rake leaves. It was the perfect weather for listening to The Strokes (Room on Fire) and some decent leaf action. I hated raking leaves back home, but thats mainly because the leaves were always soggy and therefore heavy. The leaves here were dry, crunchy and fairly delightful. I felt really American raking dry leaves.

We have had it with Utah drivers.
- I leave a 10ft gap between me and car in front on the freeway, because if they brake unexpectedly, i don’t want to rear end them – just because you can physically fit your car into that gap does not mean i want your Minivan butt in there.
- When you park at a supermarket, at school, or in a parking garage, those yellow/white lines are there for a reason. they designate you a spot. They are stategically placed so most cars have a foot of space on either side. parking diagonally over these lines does not make modern art, it just makes me irritable.
- When you are stationary in your parked car, on the side of the road, how about you indicate, and actually look for an open spot before peeling out of it into mainstream traffic.
- Indicate before you change lanes, not after or during the move.
- When you turn at an intersection, turn into the appropriate lane, not into the one 3 lanes over.

Ordinarily, I think i’d embrace a cartoon encouraged kids to think proactively, investigate the world around them, and know the habitat of weird animals like sloths, llamas and so on. Job number 3 requires i entertain a teething 7 month old and a cheese-finicky 2 year old who loves to watch Dora, so I’ve seen a good couple episodes. Thing is, Dora and her cohorts speak in Spanish, or happen to run into characters that only speak Espanol. Clearly, Dora is Mexican (so is Diego may I add – Diego is her older, male relative who talks about more complicated ecosystems and animals such as the Jaguar). I can see how that is really great – teaching your toddlers another language, but with the current situation of America considering bilingualism to be a good idea, I’m just ticked off that Dora is practically one more step in that campaign. yarghhhhhhhhh. Bilingualism doesnt equal being cultured or fair, it means americans learn spanish, and mexicans keep moving here illegally because it just got so much easier to be comfortable here. home away from home.

I hit a record of not speaking to anyone on sophomore year. I went 28 hours without saying a word. This was due to working a job that I could do silently, not commenting in class, having friends that text instead of call and me being a bit of a hermit. Excuse my emo-ocity, but I remember really liking that kind of loneliness. it matched the weather and life season quite nicely.
